As a specialist in musculoskeletal conditions, this means I am experienced in assessing and treating any joint, soft tissue or nerve issue. I appreciate that nearly all conditions are a spectrum of severity. The severity of your symptoms will dictate what type of support and treatment you will need. So whether it is a slight niggle that you want to prevent getting worse, or pain that you have had for many years, I understand that if you book an appointment with me, then it is important to you. I am a firm believer that my role as a physiotherapist is to support and guide you towards your goals. It’s a process we go through together, to find out what works for you and your pain. I’m not a fan of ‘quick fixes’ or endless passive sessions of treatment. My feeling is your injury journey needs to be a collaborative one. The aim is for you to be able to independently manage your symptoms and get back to the things you love.

I also understand that pain is complicated. You are more than just a joint, muscle or tendon and all life throws at you including family, stress, nutrition, sleep, and work will all impact recovery. That’s why it is vital that we treat your pain holistically, assessing the whole you and not just the local tissue.
